Why "I'm sorry" doesn't work workbook

After betrayal, both partners often get trapped in a loop of shame and self-protection. The Repairing Partner uses “I’m sorry” to relieve guilt or shame, while the Reclaiming Partner waits for an apology strong enough to feel safe again. Both revolve around remorse instead of real repair, which creates disconnection and exhaustion.
